LeJog 2013

Three friends are to cycle the famous Lands End to John O'Groats route in aid of Cancer research UK

This is a charity which is close to the hearts of the team due to a mutual friends condition.

You can donate to their charity via BT's mydonate using the following link, if you do please use gift aid

With BT mydonate all of your donation goes to the charity!

Currently the donations have reached just over £500.

The over 50's cycling team is Steve Hart, Ian Edwards and Peter Hyatt they will be supported by a driver tag team for the whole route in a support vehicle kindly supplied by BT.

The route will see approximately 1000 miles of the British countryside.
They set off on the 16 June 2013 and the trip will take 12 days.

Apparently, and so Steve tells me, because John O'Groats is closer to sea level than Lands End, this is the easy route and it is all down hill from the start - he may change his mind by the last day!

My Blog is my little contribution to the teams efforts, Steve Hart is a colleague and friend and he will be updating me daily to publish their days activity and hopefully some amusing anecdotes...

As a parting shot Steve has given me a picture of him in training, I'm not sure about the tricks !

Good luck and here's to chamois cream !
